RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM INFORMASI LIBRARY MANAGEMENT PADA STASIUN TELEVISI JAKARTA

Abstract

The purpose of this final project is to describe and explain the design of a library management information system at a television station in Jakarta. It aims to identify the obstacles encountered and find appropriate solutions to overcome each obstacle. This final project report is presented descriptively, and the data collection methods used by the author include literature study, field study consisting of observation and interviews, as well as documentation. From the results of the research conducted by the author, it can be concluded that PT ITV still uses other TV systems to record program data, making it difficult for PT ITV to monitor program material due to limited access to the system. From this problem, the idea arose to implement a computerized Library Management system in accordance with the needs of PT ITV. There are four actors/users in this information system, namely: Programming, Library, QC (Quality Control), and MCR (Master Control Room). Programming can input program playlists, Library can manage the program playlist data, QC can check and change the status, and MCR can view the daily playlists that are ready to air.
