This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial motivation on business sustainability with innovation as a mediating variable among young entrepreneurs in the Solo Raya region. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a purposive sampling technique, where the respondent criteria include age 18–27 years, domiciled in Solo Raya, and have run a business for at least one year with a total of 150 respondents. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed in the form of Google Form. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method based on Partial Least Square (PLS) through SmartPLS 3.0, which includes evaluation of the outer model (validity and reliability) and inner model (R², Q², path coefficient, and mediation test). The results show that entrepreneurial motivation has a significant effect on business sustainability, as well as a significant effect on innovation. Innovation is also proven to have a significant effect on business sustainability, while being able to mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial motivation and business sustainability. These findings confirm that high entrepreneurial motivation needs to be accompanied by the ability to innovate so that young entrepreneurs can maintain business desires amidst dynamic market competition.
