Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of compatibility, user support, system quality, function, and usability on user satisfaction and its impact on continuance intention to use Android smartphones in Indonesia. A quantitative explanatory design was employed, with data collected from 198 Android users through online and offline surveys, analyzed using SEM-PLS. The findings reveal that all independent variables significantly and positively affect user satisfaction. Furthermore, user satisfaction significantly influences the continuance intention to use Android smartphones. These findings confirm that the determinants of interactivity and device features play an important role in building user satisfaction. Practical implications suggest that smartphone producers should improve system quality, functionality, usability, and customer support services. Limitations include the use of non-probability sampling and the exclusive focus on Android users, restricting generalizability. Future research should incorporate iOS users, adopt longitudinal methods, and add variables on determinants of interactivity and device features or emotional factors to provide broader insights.
