Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the archival system at PT Belfoods Indonesia Bogor. The objective of the study is to identify the constraints and alternative solutions in dealing with existing problems. The data collection technique used was observation, namely direct observation of the object under study. The constraints found in the archival system at PT Belfoods Indonesia include the lack of human resources with adequate skills and knowledge, loss of documents caused by improper storage, and the presence of documents that no longer have use value stored in filing cabinets, resulting in overcrowded storage. The solutions implemented so far have not been effective, as several alternatives are often disrupted by urgent tasks that must be prioritized. Therefore, efforts are needed to raise employees’ awareness of proper archival administration in accordance with applicable regulations.
