This study aims to analyze the influence of the training curriculum, tutor competence, and training facilities on the competence of cabin crew trainees, with self-confidence serving as a mediating variable. The research was conducted within the context of the Annual Recurrent Training at the Indonesia Training Center, which plays a crucial role in maintaining the readiness, safety, and professionalism of cabin crew amidst the dynamics of the aviation industry. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method and data analysis through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) using SmartPLS software. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to active cabin crew trainees in 2025. The results indicate that all independent variables have a positive and significant influence on the trainees’ competence, both directly and indirectly through the mediating role of self-confidence. A practice-based curriculum, professional tutors, and comprehensive training facilities contribute to enhancing cabin crew members’ self-confidence as well as their technical and service competencies. The findings emphasize the importance of implementing structured and continuous training programs to support the quality of human resources in the national aviation industry.
